11 Queens road test locations name and address- Which one is the best to take road test
Which one is the best road test location in Queens to take my road test. My friend told me Astoria Heights is better than Maspeth. Someone suggests a Fresh meadows test site is good. Is the location really matter.
From our point of view, every location is almost the same. If you practice enough and know the rules of the road, good steering control, you have no problem with parallel park or 3 point turn then you should not be worried about locations. Is NY state DMV will provide a car for my road test ?
Ny state do not provide a car on the road test day. You must have a valid car and driver who has a valid driver license and at least 21 year of age.
What documents do i need on the road test day ?
You must have-
- 5 hour certificate original copy ( picture,photocopy not acceptable)
- NY state learner permit card Or temporary receipt with NY state photo ID only acceptable.
- Eye glass or contact Lens must (If you have R-B on your permit, check your permit)
- If you are under age of 18 then bring the form MV-262 signed by parents or guardian.
- Valid car and valid license holder driver must have with you.
Queens road test locations- Online 5 hour course .
The 5 hour course is mandatory by the New York state dmv. On the road test day you must have a 5 hour certificate or online course completion proof. The DMV officer will not take your road test if you fail to provide a course completion certificate.
Kissena Park Auto
Directions — Take College Point Blvd. to Booth Memorial Avenue. Make a left turn onto Booth Memorial Avenue. Take Booth Memorial to 164th Street. Make a left turn onto 164th Street. The road test line is on the right side of 164th Street facing Underhill Avenue.
Fresh Meadows Auto
Directions — Long Island Expressway to Francis Lewis Blvd exit. Make a left turn on Francis Lewis. Go to 58th Avenue and make a left. Go to Underhill Avenue. Park on 58th Avenue facing Underhill Avenue.
Queens road test locations – Name, Address and Directions
Do not be late on the road test day. Be to the test site at least 30 minutes before your appointment. 5 hour certificate and learner permit card must have with you. Actual test is like 10-15 minutes, but you may have to wait in line 45 minutes-90 minutes.
Cunningham Park Auto
Directions — Long Island Expressway to Francis Lewis Blvd exit, make a right. At 73rd Avenue make a left turn. Second light make a right (Hollis Hills Terrace). Site is on the right.
Maspeth Auto
Location — On 50th Street – Between 55th Avenue & 56th Road – Face south toward 56th Road Maspeth, NY 11378
Directions — Long Island Expressway West, exit at Maurice Avenue and continue straight. End of road make a left. At light, make a right. Go 1 block and make a left. Line forms on right side before intersection.
Queens road test locations
Make sure to practice enough before the road test. If you fail the road test then you have to make a new appointment with dmv. It may take 5-6 weeks to do another road test. So it is wise to practice and practice. If possible, take some lessons with a driving school instructor. Professional driving instructor can give the tips to pass the road test easily.

Directions — Cross Island Parkway to Linden Blvd. exit. Make a right turn on Linden to Francis Lewis Blvd. Make a left, stay on Francis Lewis for approximately 5 blocks. Park is on the right, park facing 222nd Street.
Jamaica Auto & Motorcycle
Directions — Van Wyck Expressway South, exit at Linden Blvd. At light make a left. Continue straight to 140th Street, make a right, go to end of block. Line up along side the park on 115 Avenue facing 140th Street.
Ridgewood Auto
Location — On Stanhope St. facing Woodward Ave. Queens, NY 11385
Directions — From Queens: Take I-495/ Long Island Expwy West. Take exit 19 toward NY-25/Woodhaven Blvd/Queens Blvd. Keep right, follow signs for 60th St/Grand Ave and merge onto Queens Midtown Expwy. Left at Grand Ave (it becomes Flushing Ave ). Left onto Metropolitan Ave, right onto Grandview, right onto Stanhope St. Line up facing Woodward Ave.
From Brooklyn: Take I-278/Brooklyn-Queens Expwy. Take exit 32/Metropolitan Ave. Right onto Metropolitan Ave, right onto Vandervoort Ave, left onto Grand St.- merges into Metropolitan Ave. Right onto Grandview Ave, right onto Stanhope St. Line up facing Woodward Ave.
Whitestone Auto
Location — 154th Street and 14th Road Whitestone, NY 11357
Directions — Take the Cross Island Parkway South to exit 35. Make a left turn at the traffic light. At the end of the road make a right. At the intersection make a left turn. The line forms along the side of the shopping center parking lot.
