Is there a final exam at the end of the course?
No. The online 5 hour course does not have a final exam. At the end of each unit, you will be required to pass a four-question quiz to proceed to the next unit. State rule requires a minimum score of 70% to pass a quiz (get 3 of the 4 questions correct). You will be given three (3) attempts to pass each unit quiz.
If you fail the same unit quiz three times, you will be disqualified from continuing with the course and be required to re-register and take the course again from the beginning. Should this occur, your new course will be free.
Online 5 hour course New York – Under 18 driver

5 hour pre-licensing course online NY- Will I receive any certificate ?
Once you have done the 5 hour course online, the online company will update your information with New York state dmv. They will not issue any certificate but they will send you email confirmation that you successfully complete the online 5 hour course New York.
It might take 48 hour to get an update with the DMV road testing system. After that you will be able to make a road test appointment with dmv. They will not ask you for any certificate information, because it is already their system.
Also on the day of your road test you do not need to present any certificate copy or course completion proof. Dmv officers will automatically find it when they scan your learner permit card on their system.
5 Hour course NY with driving school
If you want to take the 5 hour course with driving school you can do that. We provide the 5 hour class via zoom 4 times in a week.
After finishing the class you can come to our office to pick up your certificate. We can also mail your certificate to your home address.

- You must have the unexpired new york state learner permit card
- Valid 5 hour course completion certificate
- Eyeglass or contact lens if you have restrictions R-B on your permit.
- MV-262 form signed by guardians if you are under 18 year of age.
- Good condition car and a driver who is 21 year of age or older .
NY dmv will provide a car for my road test ?
NY dmv does not provide a car for road tests. You have to arrange your own car and a driver to take your road test. Get a car and driver and make sure that :
- Car is 4 door and clean and good condition
- Registration and inspection sticker must not expired and present in the car
- License plate present and not expired
- Driver has a valid license and is at least 21 year of age .

2 things you must need for a rush road test date
Usually it takes 6-7 weeks to get an appointment with any dmv. But if you are in a rush and or need the driving license immediately for your job. We may find a rush road test date for you at some additional cost. To get a rush road test you must have :
- valid NY state learner permit card with a photo. no exceptions .
- 5 hour certificate or online course completion proof .

Road Test Results After 6 pm
